8th Annual Maple River Clean-Up & Log Jam Removal- April 14, 2011
This year we are attempting a log jam removal (water level permitting) in conjunction with the usual river clean-up. We will be cleaning up the boat launches, popular fishing spots and bridge crossings along the river. We will have further details in the near future. 17th Annual Quiet Water Symposium – March 3rd @ MSU Pavilion, 9am-5pm
The Symposium has a wide range of exhibits on the show floor. You will find clubs and nature centers. Handcrafted and historic watercraft will be on display. Biking, hiking and water trails are represented. Conservation and watershed groups are available, including the Friends of the Maple River! A number of outfitters and liveries are represented to support your outdoor adventures. We have a growing selection of outdoor oriented retailers as well.
